We are looking for an experienced and responsible individual to be a lead hand and oversee day-to-day operations with our team on a full time basis.

Must have previous experiencing leading a maintenance crew.
- Salary position available immediately.
- Year round company position.
- On-call services during the winter maintenance.
- Must have a valid G License and clean drivers abstract.
- Experience in lawn and garden maintenance at Condos and commercial sites.
- Must know how to manage a crew of 3 or more and work well with other Lead Hands.
Passion for the industry
Day-to-Day Responsibilities include;
- Relaying work orders to the crew, checking in with the customers if needed, and relaying information back to owner or supervisors.
- Complete routine inspections of the property before and after each job is completed
- Circle checks of trucks and trailer and check on maintenance of equipment and tools.
- Ensure that your crew is following all PPE regulations are being observed in compliance with company and legislative regulations.
Spring, Summer, Fall Responsibilities
- Full time work Monday-Friday - possible weekends due to weather. We do try to keep working weekends to a minimum in the summer.
- Operating vehicles and powered equipment, such as mowers, blowers and pruning saws
- Care for commercial and residential properties by mulching, weeding, trimming or edging around flower beds, walks, or walls
- Use hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, hedge trimmers etc
- Load and unload work trucks, make sure you have proper tools to complete days tasks.
- Maintain and complete accurate records of work completed, vehicle maintenance and damages, site requirements.
- Various other tasks as required
- Winter Maintenance hours subject to weather
- Winter Maintenance - snow and ice control, run crew for either walks crew / Plow truck if you have experience. Pick up truck with plow/ Ford 550's with plows
- Winter Maintenance - November to April, a discussion of position and expectations will be closer to season but is an on-call basis during weather events

Pay: $23.00-$28.00 per hour
