Job Description and Requirements
Precision machining of machine tool type details in an air conditioned facility. The candidate is responsible for their own setups, the quality of their work and also their productivity.
- Program, Set up and operate vertical CNC mill to machine details and weldments.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and shop orders to determine machining requirements.
- Programming with Mastercam is an asset.
- Experience with HAAS control is an asset.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Track and record production data.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused.
The successful candidate should have their journeyman/journeywoman's certification and/or 3-5 years experience in CNC machining. Experience with Haas controls is a definite asset. MasterCam experience is also an asset. Ability to setup, program and manufacture precision details with little or no supervision is required.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $24.00-$30.00 per hour
