Kinetic OHS is excited to announce that we are expanding our team! We are looking for a full-time Hazmat Surveyor, open to both entry-level and experienced candidates.

Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience. For experienced candidates, we offer negotiable wages based on qualifications and current market conditions.
Position Description:
The Hazmat Surveyor / Safety Consultant will be responsible for a diverse range of tasks, including:
- Conducting air monitoring and inspections during abatement projects
- Preparing detailed site inspection reports
- Analyzing asbestos air samples
- Performing hazardous materials surveys and assessments
- Interpreting findings and preparing technical reports
- Maintaining air monitoring and sampling equipment
- Offering recommendations to ensure compliance with WorkSafeBC regulations
- Supporting Kinetic OHS personnel on various projects

We’re looking for someone who is detail-oriented and passionate about safety in the workplace!
Minimum Requirements:
- Have completed an OHS, Science or Technologist Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree
- Must have a valid BC Driver License and reliable vehicle
- Have excellent written & verbal English communication skills
- Have good time management skills
- Have good work attitude and willing to learn new skills
- Ability to work independently and in group/team environments
- Ability to wear PPE such as a respirator, hard hat, eyewear, gloves, boots, etc.
- Be able to climb a ladder
- Be able to pass criminal record checks to obtain security clearance
- Be able to work occasionally on weekends and evenings (project dependent)
- Be familiar with Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel programs
