Corporate Lawyer/Solicitor

Salary: $65,000–$85,000 base salary + commission structure

Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Solicitor / Corporate Lawyer with 1–2 years of experience to join our growing practice. The ideal candidate will have experience in corporate and commercial law, with some exposure to wills and estates matters. This role offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement.
The successful candidate will work on a variety of solicitor-side matters and have the opportunity to build strong client relationships while growing within a collaborative and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate corporate and commercial agreements and related legal documents.
- Assist with incorporations, corporate reorganizations, share purchase transactions, and other corporate matters.
- Prepare and maintain corporate records, resolutions, and filings.
- Support clients with wills, powers of attorney, and basic estate planning matters.
- Conduct legal research and provide practical, business-focused legal advice.
- Communicate directly with clients, external professionals, and regulatory bodies.
- Manage files independently while maintaining strong attention to detail and deadlines.
- Contribute to business development and client relationship management initiatives.
- Occasional collaboration between our Mississauga and Hagersville offices is a bonus.
Qualifications
- Licensed and in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
- 1–2 years of experience in corporate/commercial law.
- Some experience or familiarity with wills and estates considered an asset.
- Strong drafting, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple files efficiently.
- Perform other duties as reasonably assigned, consistent with the nature, scope, and level of the position
