Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, a strong knowledge of food and beverage service, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, managing POS transactions, and ensuring all food safety standards are maintained. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with Micros POS systems are preferred. The Server will play a key role in delivering an outstanding experience that encourages repeat visits and positive reviews.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Manage POS transactions accurately using Micros POS or similar systems, including cash handling and credit card processing.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any special requests or concerns.
- Ensure all food safety and food handling protocols are followed to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and equipment.
- Monitor guest consumption to promote responsible drinking practices.
- Restock bar supplies as needed while minimizing waste.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy hours.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of Toast POS or similar cashiering systems.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and calculating tabs accurately.
- Understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to serve alcohol responsibly in compliance with legal requirements.
