NATIONAL CONSTRUCTION SAFETY OFFICER (NCSO)
We are seeking a career minded individual for a temporary site project with potential for future projects.
This person will be responsible for ensuring jobsite compliance with PVL’s established and fully COR certified safety program and, the client’s safety requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participate in job hazard analysis and administer training
- Ensure jobsite compliance with established safe work procedures
- Perform worksite inspections and safety meetings
- Complete weekly KPI tracking (statistics)
- Participate in investigations and implement corrective actions
- Ensure proper reporting is completed on all applicable incidents
- Support project staff and promote a culture of safety
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Have a strong understanding of WorkSafeBC regulation for the construction industry
- Have a working understanding of COR certified work processes
- Have great attention to detail and be able to follow through on all required documentation and reporting
- Training or certifications in construction safety such as NCSO or other relevant certification considered an asset
- Be able to work both in the office and field as required
- Class 5 Drivers License
Pay will be negotiated based on experience. 25-40$/hr
