Particulary hiring Heidelberg Machine Operator
We are seeking a skilled Press Operator to join our dynamic production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining printing presses to produce high-quality printed materials. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. As a Press Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that production schedules are met while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
Duties
- Set up and operate printing presses according to job specifications and production schedules.
- Monitor press operations to ensure quality standards are met throughout the printing process.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on printing equipment to minimize downtime.
- Adjust ink levels, pressure, and other settings as needed to achieve optimal print quality.
- Conduct regular inspections of printed materials for defects or inconsistencies.
- Maintain accurate records of production runs, including quantities produced and any issues encountered.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance overall efficiency in the production area.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in printing technology is a plus.
- Previous experience as a Press Operator or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime if necessary.
