Business Consultant (CM-FABC-312476N)
DESCRIPTION: Nortak Software is currently seeking Senior Business Consultants with the following qualifications:
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum ten (10) years of experience, within the last fifteen (15) years, performing duties consistent with a Business Consultant – Level 3 and/or Business Analyst – Level 3
- Minimum ten (10) years of experience developing and documenting business strategies, business requirements, and business processes for enterprise IM/IT or digital transformation initiatives with the experience having been acquired in large or complex enterprise environments, such as organizations with large user populations, geographically distributed operations, or environments operating parallel legacy and modern service models, and must include: a. definition and management of business requirements; b. development of decision flows, business rules, or operating procedures; and c. ongoing advisory support to solution design and implementation activities
- Must have worked as a Business Consultant or Business Analyst on at least two (2) enterprise IM/IT or digital transformation initiatives that involved modernization or transformation of delivery, provisioning, or operating models (e.g., technology, service, application, or platform modernization) and must have included business advisory, governance, coordination, or integration responsibilities in direct support of technical implementation teams
- Must have demonstrated experience performing business process analysis and business requirements management for IM/IT initiatives, including: a. Definition and documentation of current-state and future-state business processes; b. Development of business requirements and supporting artefacts; and c. Identification of impacts, dependencies, risks, and decision points required to support technical design and implementation
- Must have demonstrated experience supporting stakeholder engagement, governance processes, and change enablement for enterprise IM/IT initiatives with the experience including facilitation or support of workshops, briefings, working sessions, or decision forums, and acting as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams across delivery, transition, or operationalization phases
- Must have delivered Business Consulting or Business Analysis services on at least one (1) project for a Public Sector organization, as defined by PSPC, within the last fifteen (15) years
- Valid Government of Canada Secret Level II security clearance granted by CSP/PSPC
RATED CRITERIA:
- Experience developing or contributing to business strategies and future-state operating models in support of enterprise IM/IT or digital modernization initiatives
- Experience integrating business requirements with technical delivery activities for IM/IT initiatives, including coordination across multiple technical and stakeholder domains which may include collaboration with a. IM/IT engineering or delivery teams; b. security, identity or risk stakeholders; and c. application, platform, or service integration teams
- Experience supporting delivery, transition, and operational readiness activities for enterprise IM/IT initiatives including a. Support to transition from project delivery to steady-state operations; b. Development or contribution to transition, readiness, or handover artefacts; c. Knowledge transfer activities supporting operational teams or stakeholders
- Experience providing stakeholder, governance, or executive-level advisory support for enterprise IM/IT initiatives which include a. Preparation of briefing or decision-support materials; b. Support to governance, review, or oversight forums; and c. Advisory support to senior business or IM/IT stakeholders
- Experience beyond the mandatory minimum requirements performing Business Consultant duties in large or complex IM/IT environments such as a. Large user or stakeholder populations; b. Geographically distributed operations; c. Multiple business lines or stakeholder groups; d. Parallel legacy and modern service or delivery models
- Hold valid professional certifications relevant to business consulting, service management, operating model transformation, or organizational change such as but not limited to: a. Business analysis or consulting certifications; b. Service management or operational excellence certifications; c. Project, programme, or change management certifications
- Hold valid professional certifications including but not limited to: a. CBAP or ECBA; b. ITIL; c. Lean Six Sigma; d. Prince2; e. Change management, service management, or modernization-related certifications
