Continuity Care Solutions Inc. is proud to partner with Health Sciences North to provide high-quality care at the Alternative Level of Care Facility at Amberwood Suites.
We’re looking for a dedicated, detail-oriented Housekeeper who takes pride in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
What You’ll Do
As a valued member of our team, you’ll:
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable facility for patients and staff
- Complete laundry and cleaning duties using site checklists and best practices
- Follow infection prevention and control procedures
- Handle and dispose of hazardous waste safely and according to policy
- Manage inventory, equipment, and supplies to ensure smooth operations
- Work collaboratively with staff and supervisors to support patient flow and care
- Take pride in ensuring every corner of the facility reflects our commitment to quality
What You Bring
- Knowledge of Infection Prevention and Control practices
- Ability to read and apply Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and written instructions
- Strong teamwork and independence — you get the job done with care and attention
- Physical ability to perform duties including lifting (up to 50 lbs), standing, and walking
- A commitment to safety, reliability, and exceptional service
Qualifications
- High school diploma (or equivalent)
- Previous housekeeping experience, ideally in a healthcare or long-term care setting
- Ministry of Labour “Worker Health and Safety Awareness in 4 Steps” training
- Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening (within 6 months)
- Up-to-date vaccinations and TB testing per company policy
- Availability for day shifts and some weekends
- Bilingualism (French) considered an asset
