The Potash Business Unit is establishing a Full Potential Office (FPO), with the mandate to oversee, support and accelerate the delivery of transformation initiatives that will strengthen the Potash BU’s operational excellence and introduce innovative new digital solutions.
The FPO will comprise of three groups:
A Central Program Management Office (PMO) to oversee results delivery across program initiatives and manage program risks
A digital program team to develop the BU’s digital strategy and drive execution of new digital solutions
A capability Centre of Excellence (COE) to support program initiatives with critical capabilities
The Digital Enabler Lead is a critical member of the Digital Program, and is responsible for successfully stewarding the delivery of the technical and data enablers that are critical to help support the implementation and effectiveness of digital solutions.
The Digital Enabler Lead works with a cross-functional team to build the plan, track execution, resolve or escalate issues, and provide updates on the progress of digital enablers to the Digital Program and the PMO. This role will also enlist required support (e.g. IT) to help deliver these enablers. The Digital Enabler Lead must retain oversight of the progress of digital enablers, and its interaction with other digital initiatives.
What you will do:
Work with the Digital team to understand and articulate the required technical enablers to deliver on our Digital Destinations. This will include ensuring the right stakeholders are involved in decision making and workshops
In partnership and collaboration with IT teams across Nutrien, develop the roadmap and plan to execute digital enabler initiatives, and help coordinate the necessary business and technical support to deliver on these initiatives in the following areas:
Network (WAN, LAN, etc.)
Server and storage infrastructure (cloud and on-prem)
COTS and Custom applications both internally hosted and on Nutrien’s cloud footprint
IIOT and other sensing technologies
Advocate for the Digital Program and its key initiatives with business functions
Support the operationalization of technical and data enablers at sites, and provide support to the delivery teams
Facilitate and help validate vendor selection and maintain awareness of the ecosystem of potential partners
Research and identify potential new technologies to help enhance digital capabilities and assess applicability to Potash and the Digital Program
Provide regular progress updates to Director, Digital Program; Senior Manager, Potash IT, initiative owners, and the FPO
What you will bring:
6-8 years of relevant experience, with significant subject matter expertise in IT and data & analytics
Experience in working in cross-functional teams with strong presence to establish his / her role quickly
Strong business acumen and demonstrated leadership skills
Track record of successful project delivery
A passion for technology with focus and determination required to succeed
Strong communication skills
