- Weekly individual studio instruction, assessing student performance and progress, and overseeing student performance preparation
- Marking and grading of assignment, exams, or performances.
- Providing constructive feedback to students.

Where a University of Manitoba student is the successful candidate, the terms and conditions of employment, including remuneration, will be governed by the UM/CUPE 3909 (Student) Collective Agreement.
- Master of Music degree is preferred.
- Bachelor of Music degree is required, or acceptable equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
- An established record as a performer and a history of successful music teaching at the university level are assets.
- Background/specialization in subject area required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in the English language are required.
Master of Music (Tuba) degree is preferred. Bachelor of Music (Tuba) degree is required, or acceptable equivalent combination of education and professional experience. Salary: Start rate - $70.09 Beginning the 4th year - $76.95 Beginning the 8th year - $83.81 Beginning the 12th year - $90.66
