Job Summary
As a Project Manager Contractor, you will be responsible for managing the successful delivery of Inovatec’s product suite to clients as part of a fixed‑term engagement. The contractor will follow Inovatec’s structured methodology and delivery approach while driving multiple concurrent initiatives according to documented scope, schedule, and budget.
You will play a key role in planning, tracking, and enabling forward momentum in assigned projects while ensuring effective communication with internal stakeholders and clients. Success in this role means managing client needs end‑to‑end, coordinating timelines, monitoring risks, and ensuring blockers are resolved promptly.
This contract opportunity offers the chance to work within the North American lending industry, operate in a fast‑paced environment, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams across the globe.
Key Responsibilities

Plan and manage system implementations, deployments, and upgrades with internal and external stakeholders.

Run project kickoff meetings with clients and internal teams.

Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using tools such as MS Project.

Manage internal and external project status updates.

Identify and manage risks, issues, mitigation plans, and key decisions proactively.

Develop “get‑back‑to‑green” plans when needed to realign projects with timelines and budgets.

Manage project financials related to forecasting, timelines, and deliverable tracking.

Track team deliverables, timelines, and contributions as part of project oversight.

Escalate issues in a timely manner to senior leadership based on project impact.

Prevent scope creep through active scope management and clear client communication.

Create and manage Statements of Work (SOWs) and other project documentation as needed.

Follow Inovatec’s Project Management Methodology and industry best practices.

Support Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and other client review meetings.

Contribute to continuous improvement by providing feedback on processes and practices.

Facilitate retrospectives for internal teams and client teams to promote continuous improvement.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business management, project management, or relevant experience.

5+ years of experience managing concurrent SDLC projects in a fast-paced environment.

Strong experience using Jira, Smartsheet, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

High emotional intelligence (EQ) and interpersonal effectiveness.

Project management certifications (PMP, PMI, PRINCE2, or similar) considered an asset.

Ability to work independently, manage up and across, and thrive in dynamic environments.
