KIN Integrated Child Health is a growing interdisciplinary clinic in southwest Edmonton dedicated to supporting children, youth, and families through collaborative, evidence-based care. Our team includes psychologists, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, nurse practitioners, and behaviour consultants who work together to provide comprehensive, family-centred care.
We’re looking for a compassionate and skilled Behaviour Consultant to join our team on a contractor basis.
About the Role
As a Behaviour Consultant, you’ll work with children and youth presenting with autism, ADHD, developmental differences, behavioural challenges, emotional regulation difficulties, and other neurodevelopmental needs. You’ll collaborate closely with families, schools, and our interdisciplinary team to create meaningful, practical, and lasting change.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct behavioural, functional, and developmental assessments.
- Develop individualized behaviour support plans based on evidence-based practices.
- Provide parent coaching and caregiver education.
- Collaborate with schools, educators, physicians, and community agencies.
- Monitor client progress and adjust intervention plans using data-informed decision making.
- Work collaboratively with psychologists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and nurse practitioners.
- Complete professional documentation, reports, and recommendations.
- Participate in interdisciplinary case consultation as appropriate.
We’re Looking For
- Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) or Behaviour Consultant with relevant experience.
- Eligible to practice in Alberta.
- Experience supporting children and youth with autism and other developmental or behavioural needs.
- Strong assessment, communication, and report-writing skills.
- Passion for collaborative, family-centred care.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a multidisciplinary team.
