- Barista experience -At least one year.
- We do not operate in the weekends
- Schedule is Monday to Friday
- Minimum 10 hours / week
- Based on performance, there is always a chance for a full-time and more hours position.
- Time Flexibility required - Opening duties at 6 am, closing duties at 7 pm
Overview
We are seeking a fast and energetic Barista/All Rounder to join our dynamic team. This role involves preparing and serving beverages and sandwiches, providing customer service, and supporting various operational tasks within our café environment. The ideal candidate is expected to have excellent time management skills, and experience in handling orders at rush times.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and other drinks.
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Assist with food preparation and food safety practices.
- Provide customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing inquiries or concerns
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and kitchen areas in accordance with health regulations
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and customer satisfaction
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
Experience
- Previous barista experience is required; training will be provided.
- Experience in the food industry or food service environment is advantageous
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and transactions
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures is desirable
Pay: $17.20-$18.00 per hour
