Join our team at Special Event Rentals, where we help bring unforgettable events to life! We’re hiring students for Delivery Driver Assistants (Swamper) to support our drivers in delivering and setting up rental equipment for weddings, festivals, corporate events, and more.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting drivers with loading, unloading and delivering event equipment
- Helping with the setup and takedown of rental items at event sites (tables, chairs, pipe & drape, etc.)
- Keeping equipment organized and clean
- Providing friendly, professional customer service
What we're looking for:
- Energetic, reliable students looking for a summer job
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Compensation & Schedule:
- Starting Pay:$17/hour
- This seasonal role runs from June through to the end of August
- Two shift options available: Thursday to Monday or Monday to Saturday
- Hours are 8:00am to 6:00pm on weekdays and 9:00am to 3:00pm on weekends
As we support a busy event season, we're looking for team members who are flexible and reliable, especially when it comes to weekend scheduling.
