Potzus Ltd is one of Saskatchewan’s largest construction companies. Established in 1966 we are a second generation family owned and operated business providing top quality work to the Government of Saskatchewan, various municipalities and the private sector. Day to day operations include earth moving, site prep, aggregate production, paving, and excavation.
We are currently looking for an experienced blaster to direct and manage drilling and blasting operations with overall responsibilities for safety, environmental, maintenance, quality, and other production-related activities. The position ensures compliance with all standards, policies, and regulations for a safe, environmentally sound production of a quality product.
Qualifications for Blaster:
- Saskatchewan blasting ticket or equivalent from another Canadian Province, required
- Thorough understanding of drilling & blasting methods applied under various site conditions
- Read and understand blast plans as required on site
- Good attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies and changes required to the blast plan based on specific field condition
