WHAT YOU’LL DO
Are you a passionate marketing professional with a knack for driving engagement and nurturing leads? We’re on the hunt for a CRM and Email Marketing Specialist who is an expert in Pardot to take our email marketing and CRM initiatives to the next level! In this role, you’ll:
Lead the Charge: Spearhead our email marketing efforts, utilizing Pardot's powerful automation tools to create compelling campaigns that captivate our audience.
Collaborate & Innovate: Work closely with our dynamic marketing, sales, and content teams to craft data-driven strategies that enhance customer relationships and boost lead generation.
Drive Engagement: Develop and implement innovative email campaigns that not only reach but resonate with our audience, fostering lasting connections.
Duties and Responsibilities
Email Campaign Strategy & Execution:
Develop and execute targeted email marketing campaigns that align with business goals, including lead nurturing, customer engagement, and product promotion.
Manage the end-to-end process of email marketing, from audience segmentation to creative design and performance reporting.
Ensure proper use of Pardot features, such as A/B testing, cohort development, segmentation, dynamic content, and automation rules to optimize engagement.
Pardot Management & Optimization:
Oversee the daily operations of Pardot, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with email marketing best practices (CAN-SPAM, CASL, CCPA).
Leverage Pardot’s automation tools to streamline lead nurturing and improve sales funnel conversion rates.
Create and manage drip campaigns, email templates, and lead scoring models within Pardot.
Build, deploy, and manage lead generation forms across a variety of digital channels.
Collaborate with the sales team to align on lead assignment and ensure effective use of lead scoring and progressive profiling.
Ensure seamless integration between Pardot and the rest of our Salesforce instance.
CRM Strategy & Management:
Analytics & Reporting:
Monitor and report on the performance of email marketing efforts (open rates, CTR, conversions) using Pardot’s analytics and reporting tools.
Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve engagement and campaign effectiveness.
Track and measure KPIs related to lead acquisition, lead nurturing, and sales conversions.
Validate UTM and Google Analytics events to ensure accurate tracking of customer interactions and data updates in CRM and Pardot.
Track the return on investment for marketing efforts, especially in terms of lead generation and conversions.
Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to attribute conversions to multiple touchpoints to understand the impact of each marketing effort.
Collaboration & Communication:
Collaborate with internal teams to develop cohesive messaging across campaigns and provide strategic and technical guidance for optimizing Pardot usage
Partner with the technology team to ensure systems are working as they should and any improvements and processes changes are communicated effectively.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
Education and Experience
Ideally, you’ll have a minimum of 5 years of experience in email marketing, CRM management, and marketing automation.
Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Collaborative, creative, flexible, and innovative team player with an ability to work effectively with peers, senior leaders, and key stakeholders
Self starter who can confidently coordinate and collaborate with many internal stakeholders with differing needs and goals.
Excellent problem-solving, and analytical skills with good judgment to make timely and sound decisions
Strong administrative and organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities and workflow
Proficiency in Pardot is required, including experience with setting up automation rules, forms, layout templates, and landing pages. Building complex email workflows, journeys, database segments, database hygiene, and integration with Salesforce.
Strong understanding of email marketing strategies (list segmentation, personalization, A/B testing).
Understanding of email marketing best practices (copywriting, content hierarchy, layout, design, email-safe fonts, testing and QA).
Experience building email templates using email building software such as Stripo (a plus), Mailchimp, Klayvio, Hubspot, or Unlayer.
Knowledge of CRM best practices and experience managing customer databases (Salesforce experience is a plus).
Knowledge of automation tools such as Zapier or IFTTT
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights using google analytics or excel.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously using common project management tools.
Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation/facilitation skills.
Beginner knowledge of HTML/CSS for email templates is an asset.
Working Conditions
Salary Information
The typical base salary for this specific position is from $75,000 to $95,000. The salary offered is based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors including education, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and organizational needs. We also have a performance based bonus program that supports our employees by recognizing exceptional individual performance and company success.
