Home Renovations Specialist / General Contractor
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Home Renovations Specialist / General Contractor to perform residential renovation projects, such as tub-to-shower conversions. The ideal candidate will possess a good understanding of construction processes and range of trade skills. This role involves doing renovation projects from start to finish, performing quality workmanship, adherence to safety standards, and client satisfaction. The position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, including kitchen and bathroom remodels, flooring installations, tiling, and more.
Duties
- Manage and perform all phases of renovation projects, under the management and in collaboration with the owner of Prospect Kitchen and Bath Design.
- Perform tasks such as carpentry, drywall installation, cabinet installation, flooring, tile laying, painting, caulking, and masonry.
- Operate or coordinate the operation of heavy equipment and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Conduct finishing and restoration work as needed.
- Ensure all work complies with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on project progress.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment throughout the duration of each project. Experience
- Proven experience in residential or commercial construction projects.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools.
- Knowledge of various trades including carpentry, plumbing, flooring installation, tile laying, concrete finishing, painting, restoration work, cabinet installation.
- Have reliable transportation to sites in Brockville and surrounding areas, as far as Smith's Falls and Delta.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00-$33.00 per hour
