About the Position**

The successful candidate in this new role is a proven marketer, natural collaborator and digital innovator with a track record of success in deploying innovative marketing plans to achieve or exceed strategic goals. The Senior Manager, Marketing will develop and implement a new marketing strategy that integrates existing marketing and promotional channels with our new digital cloud-based platform. The position will also play a key role in enhancing membership value by supporting the creation or refinement and launch of new member benefits (products and services). This position reports to the Director, Marketing & Communications, and works closely with a highly productive and creative team and actively collaborates with SMEs across all departments and cross-functional teams.

Main Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement integrated marketing strategies that leverage the BCDA brand to both internal and external audiences
  • Execute marketing plans to retain and grow BCDA membership across all member segments
  • Support the development and launch of new products and services to meet the evolving needs of members
  • Support digital communications plans that enhance member engagement on important issues and initiatives impacting the profession
  • Collaborate with web portal administrators to optimize our CMS strategy for SEO and member utilization
  • Use CRM data and Power BI analytics and other data metrics to track progress, guide decision-making and adapt marketing & promotional strategies as needed
  • Develop and train staff in optimizing digital marketing and communications tools, including effective content creation and writing to build digital literacy across the organization

About You **

Experience/Education/Skills
Undergraduate degree in marketing, digital communications plus a minimum of 7 years marketing experience at a managerial level

  • Proven acumen as a digital strategist with a track record of designing, implementing and adapting successful customer engagement plans
  • Marketing experience in a professional association or member-based organization a definite asset
  • Proven ability to deliver on multiple projects and campaigns at the same time
  • Proven ability to manage a budget
  • Exceptional English writing and verbal communications skills required
  • Proficiency with SEO tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager is required
  • Proven experience with SharePoint, CRM systems & integrated web portals and Click Dimensions a strong asset
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively to build and maintain effective working relationships in cross-functional teams and a multi-stakeholder environment
