Position Summary
The Renovation Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing residential and commercial renovation projects from start to completion. The successful candidate will ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining excellent customer relationships.
Responsibilities
Project Planning & Management
- Manage multiple renovation projects simultaneously.
- Develop project schedules, budgets, and work plans.
- Coordinate all phases of construction from demolition through final completion.
- Monitor project progress and adjust schedules as required.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Site Supervision
- Conduct regular site inspections.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, company standards, and safety regulations.
- Identify and resolve construction issues quickly.
- Maintain clean and organized job sites.
Client Relations
- Business development, Build good relationship with client.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients.
- Provide regular project updates.
- Address customer questions and concerns professionally.
- Conduct project walkthroughs and final inspections with clients.
Contractor & Supplier Coordination
- Schedule and supervise subcontractors.
- Coordinate material deliveries.
- Verify quality of workmanship.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers and trades.
Budget & Cost Control
- Track project costs and labour hours.
- Review invoices and purchase orders.
- Approve change orders.
- Recommend cost-saving solutions without compromising quality.
Health & Safety
- Enforce company safety policies.
- Conduct regular safety meetings.
- Ensure compliance with provincial Occupational Health & Safety regulations.
- Report and investigate workplace incidents.
Qualifications
Required
- 3+ years of renovation or construction project management experience.
- Strong knowledge of residential and commercial construction methods.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and customer service abilities.
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation.
- Fluent Mandarin speaker.
Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
