Job Overview
We are seeking motivated Apprentice Mechanic to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Assist with diagnosing vehicle issues using schematics and diagnostic tools
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks
- Support in repairing and replacing automotive components using hand tools and power tools
- Learn to operate welding equipment and perform basic welding tasks when necessary
- Aid in the assembly and disassembly of vehicle parts during repairs
- Follow safety protocols, including heavy lifting procedures and proper tool handling
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to complete repairs within designated timeframes
- Gain knowledge of dealership-specific repair procedures and customer service standards
Skills
- Basic mechanical knowledge with an eagerness to learn more about automotive systems
- Experience or familiarity with automotive repair is a plus, especially dealership experience or mechanic experience
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment is desirable
- Ability to interpret schematics and technical manuals for vehicle repairs
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various positions for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Excellent customer service skills are beneficial for interacting with clients during service appointments
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively as part of a team
