Blush Lane Organic Market is looking for a permanent, full-time PM Production Supervisor for our Bridgeland location (617 Meredith Road NE, Calgary).

Duties & Responsibilities
Coordinate production schedule with Production Manager to maintain an inventory of finished goods.
Assist with the coordination of shipment of finished goods to other Blush Lane locations and SPUD.
Ensure that quality and product standards are consistently met
Work with employees to ensure proportions, packaging and labeling guidelines are within company standards and guidelines.
Ensure compliance with “Best Before” date protocols.
Ensure production and operational documentation and tools are properly utilized to help the culinary team meet target goals.
Provide leadership and culinary direction to employees ensuring that product offerings are consistently excellent.
Maintain a clean and safe kitchen by using correct sanitation methods in all parts of the kitchen including the walk-in fridges and freezers.
Ensure that Blush Lane’s safe food handling practices and preparation standards are followed and strictly adhered to all times as set by the Corporate Chef.
Qualifications & Requirements
A team builder and player with a proven record for successfully mentoring and motivating staff.
Ability to work in a multi-discipline, high-performance environment with an honest, open and consistent approach to working with others.
Proven ability to work independently and within a team environment, able to learn new systems and processes quickly
Values strong kitchen control systems and proper inventory management practices.
An active listener and a strong verbal and written communicator who is confident, articulate, and able to communicate with all types of people.
Good organizational and time management skills, able to manage multiple priorities and competing demands with tight timelines.
Ability to recognize and communicate opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
A solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is required (Word, Excel).
Experience in supervising a team an asset.
Must be able to frequently lift 40-50 pounds
Compensation
Hourly wage based on experience
Extended healthcare benefits after six months of employment working a minimum 40 hours per week
