About Us
Car-Net Wine & Spirits is a premium beverage alcohol company representing award-winning brands such as Tequila Nobleza 33, Asombroso, and other high-quality spirits. We are expanding our presence across Alberta and are looking for enthusiastic Brand Ambassadors to represent our portfolio at in-store tastings, special events, and retail activations.
Position Overview
We are seeking an outgoing, reliable, and professional Brand Ambassador to lead in-store tastings and promote our premium spirits at various liquor stores in Calgary and surrounding areas.
This is a part-time, contract position with flexible scheduling—ideal for individuals who enjoy engaging with customers, educating them about premium spirits, and driving brand awareness.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-store tastings and promotional events in liquor stores across Calgary.
- Engage customers in a friendly, professional manner to communicate brand story, product qualities, and awards.
- Set up and clean up the tasting station, ensuring compliance with AGLC rules and store policies.
- Educate customers about Tequila Nobleza 33, Asombroso, and other brands represented by Car-Net Wine & Spirits.
- Track samples served, bottles sold, and provide post-event reporting.
- Maintain excellent product knowledge and attend occasional training sessions.
- Represent the brand with professionalism and enthusiasm at all times.
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old (AGLC requirement).
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, hospitality, or promotions is an asset.
- Comfortable speaking to customers and explaining product details.
- Professional appearance and strong communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift sampling supplies (up to 20 lbs).
- Access to a vehicle is an asset (some travel to stores may be required).
- Hold (or be willing to obtain) ProServe certification.
Schedule & Compensation
- Part-time, flexible hours (mostly evenings and weekends).
