ELECTRONIC TECHNICIAN
World Star Tech is a leading manufacturer of laser systems for biomedical, instrumentation, machine vision and other industrial applications. We are located in Markham, ON in a modern facility and we are currently looking for an enthusiastic, driven and resourceful Electronic Technicianto become an integral part of our growing organization.
Electronic Technician is responsible for building Laser Modules and sub-assemblies
Responsibilities
- Follow existing procedures to perform complete hands-on assembly of opto-electronic and mechanical modules
- Hand solder SMT components to IPC standards
- Perform tests using power meters, oscilloscopes etc and prepare associated documentation.
Requirements
- Hand soldering experience necessary
- Must have dexterity to assemble and align small components
- Thoroughness, attention to detail and meticulousness of assembly and testing are critical, as well as a strict following the assembly and testing protocols and Standard Operating Procedures
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Diploma in Electronics field required.
- Must be a Canadian Citizen/ Permanent Resident
