Norelco Cabinets Ltd. is a locally owned and operated cabinet manufacturing company since 1972 and we are seeking to bring on board a full time experienced Quality Control representative to our team! The job of Quality Control is a highly focused position to ensure that the products manufactured in the organization fits the purpose and meets customer expectations. The Quality Control Team can help develop and coordinate necessary changes to meet and maintain quality standards and reliability of manufactured products. They are to provide suggestions required to attain the best quality product possible.
Responsibilities:
- Wrap parts and pieces in protective foam/cardboard
- Identify parts and pieces on work order
- Ensure parts and pieces meet QC standards in quality of finish, size tolerances and consistency
- Identify pieces that are relevant and not relevant to the project and all items are accounted for
- Perform minor touch up/repairs (cleaning melamine, papering finished product)
- Consolidating the back-ordered paperwork from Shipping, Assembly and packing slips to ensure consistency
- Creating back order documentation and processing the paperwork through administration
- Scanning the back order documents to appropriate sales staff
Requirements:
- Experience in the basic knowledge of operating a machine in 2D or 3D
- Experience with reading, interpreting and troubleshooting layouts, sketches, etc., preferable in a woodworking environment.
Qualifications:
- Punctual and an excellent attendance record
- Able to work well independently and with others
- Good attention to detail
- Positive attitude and team oriented
- Must have steel-toed boots
- Ability to stand for long periods of time doing repetitive work
- Able to work well under pressure

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
