Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Shipper/Receiver to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring the accurate and efficient movement of goods, maintaining inventory integrity, and supporting shop operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with warehouse management systems, shipping and receiving processes, and operate various equipment such as forklifts and reach trucks. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment. It is a multi tasked position, you'll also be responsible for supporting other staff and owner with other duties as required.
Duties
- Prepare outgoing shipments by packaging products securely and accurately
- Receive and verify incoming po's and document receipt
- Organize and store inventory efficiently
- Management of lots and upkeep
- Maintain accurate records of shipping and receiving
- Assist with prep and movement of orders
- Operate warehouse equipment safely following all safety protocols
- Ensure proper packaging standards are maintained for all shipments
Requirements
- Previous experience in shipping & receiving or warehouse management preferred
- Proficiency with warehouse management
- Experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, or other material handling equipment required (certification preferred)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments
- Ability to lift heavy loads safely and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading goods
- Class 5 drivers license mandatory
- Good communication skills and ability to work efficiently and effectively within a team
This role is essential in supporting efficient shop operations. Candidates should be committed to safety, accuracy, and maintaining high standards of productivity. Ability to be proactive and task manage is essential.
Pay: $17.00-$25.00 per hour
Licence/Certification:
- Class 3 or 5 drivers license (required)
