Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and organized Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, manage appointment scheduling, and coordinate treatment plans. This role requires excellent communication skills, proficiency with dental office software, and a strong understanding of dental terminology/dental insurance. The Receptionist/Treatment Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring smooth office operations and providing exceptional patient service.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure
- Manage multi-line phone systems to answer inquiries, schedule appointments, and direct calls appropriately
- Verify patient insurance information and update electronic dental records using Dentrix
- Assist patients with completing necessary forms and documentation
- Coordinate treatment plans with dental providers and communicate details effectively to patients
- Handle billing procedures, including processing payments and explaining financial policies to patients
- Maintain accurate records of patient interactions, treatments, and administrative documentation
- Ensure the front desk area remains organized, clean, and welcoming at all times
- Treatment plan coordination for advanced complex dental care
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Dental Receptionist is required
- Proficiency with dental practice management software/Dentrix
- Excellent English communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive patient information discreetly
- Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Position is for a long-term, internationally trained dentist who is not suitable for this job.
Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
