Job Overview
Fraser Valley Steel and Wire is seeking an experienced Senior Inside Sales Representative to join our growing steel division. This is a high-impact role focused on customer relationships, quoting, sourcing, and driving profitable sales growth across structural steel, tubing, plate, pipe, and related steel products.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow an established customer base while actively developing new business opportunities
- Prepare accurate quotations for structural steel, tubing, pipe, plate, and other steel products
- Coordinate with purchasing, operations, and logistics teams to ensure orders are executed efficiently
- Maintain strong relationships with contractors, fabricators, manufacturers, and industrial customers
- Negotiate pricing, margins, and delivery schedules
- Support outside sales and management with strategic account development
- Handle customer concerns professionally and provide solutions quickly
- Maintain accurate records and follow-up through internal ERP and quoting systems
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years experience in the steel industry or industrial metals sales
- Strong knowledge of structural steel products including beam, tube, plate, pipe, channel, angle, and flat bar
- Strong understanding of steel grades and industry standards
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Strong negotiation and organizational skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and ERP systems
- Leadership qualities and ability to mentor junior sales staff is considered an asset

Pay: $50,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
