The Opportunity
As a Machine Operator, you will play a key role in keeping our packaging operations running safely, efficiently, and accurately.
You'll set up, operate, monitor, and make adjustments to packaging equipment to ensure products are filled, sealed, weighed, labeled, and packaged according to specifications.

Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate high-speed packaging equipment safely and efficiently.
- Monitor equipment and make adjustments to maintain production speed, accuracy, and quality.
- Control fill weights and minimize product loss.
- Inspect packages for proper sealing, labeling, identification, weight, and overall quality.
- Read and interpret equipment diagrams, instructions, and technical information.
- Perform basic troubleshooting, adjustments, and minor repairs when required.
- Maintain accurate production, inventory, weight, and packaging records.
- Organize and prepare finished products for the next stage of production.
- Complete required cleaning and sanitation procedures after production runs.
- Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean, sanitary, and organized condition.
- Follow all GMP, HACCP, BRC, safety, production, and quality requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve equipment performance, efficiency, and processes.
- Immediately report safety hazards, equipment issues, or quality concerns.
- Contribute to a respectful, safe, and productive team environment.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is dependable, hands-on, mechanically minded, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
Required/Preferred Qualifications
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in food manufacturing, packaging, or a high-speed production environment.
- Machine operation experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with production equipment.
- Good basic math and computer skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Dependable, accountable, and safety-conscious.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and respond effectively to changing production requirements.
- Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials up to 55 lbs.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform repetitive bending, twisting, reaching, and other physical tasks.
Nice-to-Have Experience
Experience with any of the following is an asset:
- VFFS (Vertical Form Fill Seal) equipment
- Bagger operation
- Pallet Walkie
- Metal detector/check-weigher setup
- WMS systems
- Mechanical troubleshooting and equipment setup
