Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Executive Housekeeper to support the management of our housekeeping operations. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction within our hotel. This role requires strong organizational skills, leadership abilities, and experience in cleaning and hospitality environments. The Assistant Executive Housekeeper will play a vital role in ensuring that all areas are impeccably maintained and that the housekeeping team operates efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Executive Housekeeper in overseeing daily housekeeping operations across all hotel departments.
- Supervise and coordinate cleaning staff to ensure timely and thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness standards and address any deficiencies promptly.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and linens, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.
- Train new housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards.
- Support scheduling and staffing to meet occupancy demands while optimizing labor efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth communication and operational flow.
- Uphold health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Assist in implementing eco-friendly cleaning practices and sustainability initiatives.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hotel housekeeping, custodial work, or industrial cleaning environments.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, hospitality standards, and safety protocols.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience within a hospitality or custodial setting is preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Good communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and management.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities within a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience with hotel operations or hospitality industry is a plus.
Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
