EY Consulting, Enterprise Risk / Third-Party Risk Management- Staff and Senior | Full-Time – 2021 Toronto
Our Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) team, within the Enterprise Risk practice, is rapidly growing and we are currently seeking Staff and Senior Consultants to join. We are looking for talented candidates based in Canada to help grow our practice.
Our TPRM team focuses on helping clients assess, address, and mitigate third-party risks. We take a holistic approach to TPRM to provide clients with comprehensive solutions aligned with their third-party oversight needs. We bring an integrated team of professionals with various skillsets (financial risk, regulatory and contract compliance, cyber and IT risks, procurement, fraud, legal, etc.) to provide clients with tailored and innovative answers.
Our Enterprise Risk practice, a specialty advisory group within our Advisory Practice, provides comprehensive risk services through a suite of strategic, outsourcing, and industry-focused operational solutions that help companies around the world evaluate, address, and enhance their risk management activities.

As a TPRM team member, you will actively contribute to client engagements, internal projects, and industry events. An important part of your role will be to drive and deliver high-quality work products to our client. You will also actively establish, maintain, and strengthen internal and external relationships. You will also be expected to identify potential opportunities and escalate these as appropriate. Your contribution will be key to help create a positive learning culture and help develop other team members. You are willing to travel as needed.
You will be helping clients oversee their third parties (vendors, suppliers, contractors, partners, etc.) and risks faced during the planning, onboarding, managing, and monitoring phases. You will be working with a variety of client functions (internal audit, supply chain / procurement, legal counsel, operations, IT, etc.). Typical engagements could include:
Cost-saving third-party/vendor engagements
TPRM end-to-end solution
TPRM Technology implementation/monitoring
Your Key Responsibilities
Consistently delivering quality client services (including taking full responsibility for tasks, consistent review of own work to identify and improve an approach for producing high quality work products, while working under supervision)
Establishing relationships with client personnel at appropriate levels
Demonstrating ability to continuously learn, incorporate and apply new knowledge in the work environment.
Improving clients' efficiency and effectiveness
Driving technology-enabled services
Executing procedures, performing detailed data analysis, reaching conclusions, documenting results, and suggesting ideas for efficiencies
Possessing good business acumen. Remaining current on new developments in Consulting services, in particular TPRM trends, capabilities, and industry knowledge
An undergraduate degree in business (finance, accounting, supply chain, etc.), engineering, computer science, information systems, or another related major
2 to 5 years of relevant work experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in MS Office, including MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint
Tech savviness – proficient or willingness to learn how to use relevant tools/software’s as needed (e.g. ServiceNow, Salesforce, Alteryx, Microsoft Power BI, etc.)
Comfortable with fast-past environment, innovation, diversity of thoughts, and creativity
Demonstrated project management, teaming, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skill
Demonstrated integrity, values, principles, and work ethic
Willing and able to learn and work independently with minimal supervision
Effective organization and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines
Experience with driving change and cost savings at leading practices organizations
Pursuing or eventual pursuit of your CPA, CIA, CSCP, CISA, CFE, CMA, RICS APC, PMP, P.Eng., M.Eng., J.D., or CCIM certification desired
Relevant industry experience is a differentiator (supply chain/procurement, contract management, IT/cybersecurity, operational management, internal audit, and cost savings initiatives)
Experience with TPRM tools
