Employment Type: Part-time/Contract
Location: Online (Must be based in BC)
Rate: $32–$35/hour
Schedule:
Classes are conducted in a live, interactive format three days a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) and in a flexible, self-paced format two days a week (Tuesday, Thursday). Courses begin in December 2024 and are ongoing, with classes scheduled from either 9:00 am–12:00 pm or 6:00 pm–9:00 pm.
Instructor Responsibilities:
- Deliver Engaging Course Content: Teach and facilitate online classes, using Stenberg’s pre-developed curriculum to help students build essential Nursing Unit Clerk skills.
- Create Inclusive Learning Experiences: Foster an environment where students feel supported, valued, and motivated to participate actively in discussions and activities.
- Provide Real-World Insights: Use practical examples and interactive methods to deepen students’ understanding of the Nursing Unit Clerk role.
- Provide Student Support and Feedback: Guide students professionally, providing feedback that encourages their growth and keeping open lines of communication for any questions or concerns.
- Evaluate Student Progress: Assess student performance based on course objectives and deliver meaningful feedback to support their success.

Qualifications:
- Nursing Unit Clerk certificate from an accredited post-secondary institution
- Minimum of 5 years’ current, full-time experience as a Nursing Unit Clerk
- Previous teaching experience required
