Warehouse Inventory Coordinator

Location: Winnipeg, MB

Permanent Part-Time

Reporting to the Fleet and Warehouse Manager, as the Warehouse Inventory Coordinator, you will be responsible for warehouse inventory and operations; handling the incoming and outgoing products and supplies, maintaining product data, assembling various products, documenting all information to be shipped, and assisting reporting manager as needed.

Duties may include the following:
Complete receiving, warehousing, and distributing operations;
Ensure that all activities are reconciled with Inventory Management System,
Ensure consistent communication with the US warehouse staff to maintain operational consistency;
E.g. assemble parts related to CanPlug and Weather Station installs,
Communicate with customers, suppliers, and couriers to ensure effective coordination;
Assist in controlling inventory levels by conducting monthly physical counts; reconciling with Inventory Management System;
Act as a back up for technical customer support; triaging calls as needed;
Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by monitoring security procedures and protocols;

Maintain physical condition of warehouse by:
Keeping a clean workplace;
Planning and implementing new design layouts to make efficient use of the warehouse space;
Inspecting equipment;
Issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement;
Work with the Safety Coordinator to ensure we comply with federal, provincial, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
Other duties as assigned.

Education and Qualifications:
Completion of high school or equivalent work experience.
Experience within Warehouse/Shipping and receiving environments;
Experience with Inflow Inventory Management Software considered an asset;
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel;
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision;
High level of self-motivation, time management, and organization skills;
Problem solver;
Attention to detail;
Ability to carry up to 50 lbs;
Valid drivers license with a reasonably clear driving record;
Some travel may be required.
