POSITION: General Associate
DEPT: Material Control
WAGE RATE: $22.50 - $23.65
CURRENT HOURS: Afternoon 3:30pm - 12:00am

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Material handling for all production areas
- Shipping functions including unloading and tub sorting, loading, staging, etc.
- Inventory Control of materials, WIP and finished goods
- Packaging control (Mass Pro, cardboard, New Model)
- Maintain 5S for entire plant
- Willing to work in all areas of Material Control
- Component preparation/line set up in production areas
Receiving components - - product verification, scanning
- Physical Inventory activities
- Other duties as required
REQUIREMENTS
- Standup forklift and order picker experience/proficiency
ASSETS
- Counterbalance experience
- Shipping/Receiving experience
- Computer literacy/experience
- Knowledge of Inventory Control
- Knowledge of LTI parts

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or related experience.
- Forklift experience (asset)
- Computer literacy/experience (asset)
- Shipping/receiving experience (asset)
- Knowledge of LTI parts and packaging (asset)
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
MATHEMATICALS SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
