Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Production Welder specializing in FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) and GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding) to join our manufacturing team. This role involves fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal components with precision and adherence to safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding processes, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to interpret schematics and blueprints. Duties
- Perform FCAW/GMAW welding on various metal parts and assemblies according to detailed blueprints and schematics
- Operate and set up welding equipment, including MIG, TIG, plasma cutting, and press brake machines
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication
- Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, and other measuring devices to ensure precise dimensions and quality standards
- Conduct rigging operations as needed for material handling or assembly processes
- Assist with machining tasks related to fabrication projects
- Utilize forklift or crane equipment for material movement and positioning
- Perform basic assembly tasks for manufactured components and ductwork installations
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and best practices in welding and manufacturing
Skills
- Proficiency in FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) and GMAW (MIG welding); experience with TIG welding is a plus
- Mechanical knowledge related to fabrication, assembly, and maintenance of equipment
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Experience with plasma cutting, press brake machines, hand tools, power tools, calipers, and schematics interpretation
- Knowledge of rigging procedures, crane operation, forklift handling, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes including ductwork, construction elements, machining, and assembly techniques
- Ability to operate welding equipment safely while maintaining high-quality standards
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues during fabrication or welding processes

Pay: $18.38-$27.00 per hour
