Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage reservations with professionalism and courtesy
- Manage guest waitlists and seating arrangements to optimize flow and minimize wait times
- Handle phone inquiries with proper phone etiquette, providing accurate information and reservations as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station area
- Assist with seating arrangements during busy periods and coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
- Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for reservations or guest check-ins when applicable
- Support team members in maintaining a welcoming environment that emphasizes hospitality and excellent customer service
Experience
- Previous experience in guest services, serving, or hospitality is highly desirable
- Familiarity with food service operations and restaurant procedures is a plus
- Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is advantageous
- Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette, are essential for effective guest interactions
- Knowledge of hotel or restaurant environments can be beneficial but is not required; training will be provided to develop necessary skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining professionalism and friendliness
