Technical Lead, Technology Application - Brampton ON
Reporting directly to a Director of Customer Engagement Solutions, the Technical Lead, Application candidate will support the delivery of products that are integral to the success of PC Optimum, one of Canada’s 10 most recognized brands. You will play a vital technical solution delivery role as the primary conduit between Developers and Product Managers in the technical assessment, design, development and delivery of application solutions.
The role supports all phases of solution delivery, to effectively translate end-user requirements, product technology roadmaps, and supporting data structures, into the delivery of customer-centric solutions. In this role you will be responsible to deliver design specifications, functional documents and conceptual data flows in the establishment of solutions that integrate the respective components of the Technology stack and effectively collaborate with cross-functional Technology teams in delivery. Ideally you have a technical background and have a passion for product development.

- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to understand their application needs and design constraints.
- Perform requirements gathering, perform performance analysis assessments, provide new application solutions, and improve application efficiencies.
- Deliver design specifications, functional documents and conceptual data flows that define application solutions.
- Establish and enable effective channels of communication between the IT application support teams and business stakeholders
- Hands on experience in software engineering, computer engineering or related technical field
- Demonstrated success as a Full Stack Engineer/Developer
- Proven experience in Micro Services Development, and API Real-time Services Integration.
- Blend of both Development and SRE mindset (i.e. software and infrastructure)
- A curious, solution-oriented approach with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
