Overview
Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Night Auditor/Front Desk Agent, where you will be the welcoming face and vigilant guardian of our hotel during overnight hours. This energetic role combines guest service excellence with administrative precision, ensuring a smooth and memorable stay for all guests. You will handle late-night check-ins and check-outs, manage reservations, and provide exceptional customer service with a lively, positive attitude. Your multitasking skills and hospitality expertise will help create a safe, comfortable environment for our guests while maintaining operational efficiency.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures using multi-line phone systems and front desk software
- Manage guest inquiries via phone and in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Monitor security cameras, conduct routine safety inspections, and ensure the safety of all guests and staff during overnight hours
- Balance daily financial transactions, prepare reports, and handle billing discrepancies accurately
- Respond promptly to guest requests, complaints, or emergencies with professionalism and a positive attitude
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area to uphold hospitality standards
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest needs efficiently
Experience
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience is highly preferred, especially in front desk or guest services roles
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a strong plus, enabling effective communication with diverse guests
- Proven experience handling multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy
- Strong knowledge of customer service principles within a hospitality environment
- Familiarity with hotel management software and guest service systems is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on friendly, clear interactions
- Ability to work overnight shifts in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
