Reporting to the Field HR Manager, this role is responsible for the administrative functions relating to the responsibilities of the Canadian Field HR Department. This role is responsible for general administration, including front reception duties, data entry, records management, filing and any other responsibilities within the scope of the Canadian HR Department. This role may also assist with projects, reporting and process improvement as related to the Canadian HR Department
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Entry into the HRMS system (Dayforce) of all employee and position data
- General reception duties including but not limited to; greeting visitors, handling incoming calls
- Requesting and verifying employee information as required by internal and external processes
- Executing and analyzing key ad-hoc and scheduled reporting
- Responsible for addressing HR requirements for assigned employee group
- Responsible for assisting HR recruiters/coordinators with training requirements for field employees
- Supporting the HR Department in the communication and reinforcement of company policies and procedures
- Maintaining daily working relationships with Field Human Resources, Rig Managers and recruitment group
- Processing and entry of crew lists, terminations, disciplinary actions and employee record changes in a timely manner
- Professionally corresponding with all internal and external clients and peers
- Maintaining and achieving employee files
- Providing support to Director, HR - Canada
