Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual that is interested in an Apprenticeship as a Fabricator/Installer in the stone countertop industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for finishing and polishing various materials to achieve a high-quality finish. This role requires a keen eye for detail, the ability to work with precision, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality in all tasks.
Duties
- Operate polishing machines and tools to achieve desired finishes on materials.
- Operate Install tools and maintaining a clean, organized job site.
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance, ensuring they meet specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance on polishing equipment, install equipment, etc. to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, and yard area adhering to safety protocols.
- Follow detailed instructions and specifications for each project.
- May, on occasion, be required to perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Experience
- Minimum 1-5 years experience in polishing or finishing roles is an asset.
- Familiarity with various polishing techniques and materials is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work consistently.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as needed.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
