About the Role
As our business continues to expand, we are seeking an experienced IT Support & Systems Administrator to support our growing operations in Canada. This role will be responsible for maintaining and improving the Canada office’s IT systems, network infrastructure, servers, cybersecurity, and day-to-day technology operations.
The position will also work closely with our IT teams in the United States and the Philippines, providing cross-location support and assisting with company-wide IT projects and troubleshooting when needed. The successful candidate will support employees across multiple departments, including Sales, Operations, E-commerce, Technical Support, and Management, to ensure a stable, secure, and efficient technology environment across our operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot company computers, servers, networks, and other IT infrastructure.
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computer hardware, operating systems, business software, and peripheral devices.
- Administer company user accounts, access permissions, and IT system configurations.
- Administer Google Workspace, including Gmail accounts, Google Drive, user access, permissions, and other company Google services.
- Manage company domain names, DNS settings, web hosting services, SSL certificates, and website-related technical configurations.
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot company servers, network devices, firewalls, and other IT equipment.
- Configure and troubleshoot VPN and remote-access solution to maintain secure connectivity between employees and company locations.
- Monitor network and system performance, data backups, cybersecurity measures, and system availability.
- Provide day-to-day technical support and independently troubleshoot hardware, software, network, server, email, and connectivity issues.
- Provide remote IT support to other company locations and employees when required.
- Support internal system integrations, databases, and web-based business applications as required.
- Maintain IT documentation, system configurations, account/access information, and security procedures.
- Use AI and automation tools where appropriate to improve troubleshooting, system administration, documentation, and operational efficiency.
- Perform other IT-related duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of working experience in IT systems administration, IT engineering, network administration, or a similar role.
- Strong hands-on experience with Windows computers, software installation, system configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with server administration and maintenance.
- Experience administering Google Workspace in a business environment.
- Knowledge of domain management, DNS, web hosting, and SSL certificates.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, network administration, VPNs, remote access, firewalls, and network security.
- Ability to independently diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, server, and connectivity issues.
- Experience providing remote technical support across multiple locations.
- Experience with VPN solutions is preferred.
- Experience with MS SQL Server, APIs, ODBC connections, and database management is an asset.
- Experience with NVR/DVR systems, IP cameras, or video surveillance systems is an asset.
- Familiarity with AI-powered IT, automation, monitoring, or troubleshooting tools is an asset.
- Strong problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.

Annual Salary Range: CAD $55k-70k, depends on experiences

Pay: $55,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
