Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cabinet Finisher to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying finishes, stains, and protective coatings to custom cabinetry and woodwork, ensuring a high-quality, polished final product. Responsibilities
- Prepare cabinet surfaces by sanding, cleaning, and masking to ensure optimal finish application
- Apply stains, paints, lacquers, or varnishes using hand tools or power tools with precision and consistency
- Operate equipment such as spray guns, brushes, rollers, and other finishing tools safely and effectively
- Inspect finished cabinets for quality, color consistency, and surface defects; make necessary touch-ups or corrections
- Follow safety protocols related to chemical handling, ventilation, and equipment operation to maintain a safe work environment
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and proper storage of finishing materials and tools
- Collaborate with assembly and machining teams to ensure seamless workflow throughout the manufacturing process
Qualifications
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and finishing equipment such as spray guns or brushes
- Mechanical knowledge related to woodworking machinery, sanding equipment, and finishing techniques
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes including lean manufacturing principles
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and mixing finishes accurately
- Knowledge of welding, machining, or mechanical assembly is a plus but not required
- Strong attention to detail with an eye for quality control in finishing work
- Ability to operate forklifts or cranes is advantageous but not mandatory; training can be provided if needed

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
