Dr. Vetamin Specialty & Emergency Veterinary Hospital is seeking an energetic, professional, and relationship-focused Veterinary Referral Relations Representative to strengthen and expand our partnerships with veterinary clinics across Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec.
This is not a traditional sales role.
We are looking for someone who can build trust, foster collaboration, and serve as the bridge between our hospital and the veterinary community. The successful candidate will regularly visit veterinary clinics, promote our emergency and specialty services, organize educational events, gather feedback, and help ensure an exceptional referral experience for veterinarians and their teams.

Key Responsibilities
Relationship Development
Visit veterinary clinics throughout Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec on a regular schedule.
Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with veterinarians, practice managers, RVTs, and support staff.
Serve as the primary liaison between referring clinics and our hospital.
Present current and new hospital services in a professional and educational manner.
Referral Growth & Support
Promote emergency, specialty, diagnostic, surgical, toxicology, and collaborative care services.
Identify opportunities to improve referral pathways and communication.
Help referring clinics understand how to access our services efficiently.
Gather feedback from veterinary teams and relay insights to hospital leadership.
Continuing Education & Events
Coordinate lunch-and-learn presentations and educational visits.
Assist in planning continuing education events, workshops, and networking opportunities.
Represent the hospital at conferences, trade shows, and veterinary industry events.
Marketing & Outreach
Deliver referral materials and educational resources.
Assist with outreach initiatives and community engagement activities.
Maintain records of clinic visits, contacts, and follow-up activities.
Qualifications
Preferred:
Experience working in the veterinary industry.
RVT, Veterinary Assistant, CSR, Practice Manager, or equivalent veterinary experience.
Experience in pharmaceutical, medical, or veterinary field representation is considered a strong asset.
Required:
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Comfortable speaking with veterinarians and veterinary teams.
Highly organized and self-motivated.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Ability to travel regularly throughout Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec.
