Responsibilities
- Manage daily motel operations and ensure a safe, clean, guest‑focused environment
- Lead, schedule, and supervise front desk and housekeeping staff
- Handle check‑ins/check‑outs and resolve guest concerns promptly
- Monitor occupancy, rates, and revenues while controlling operating costs
- Coordinate maintenance and ensure high standards of cleanliness
- Complete daily cash‑outs, deposits, and basic reporting to head office
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety, and emergency procedures
- Oversee continental breakfast and lobby/common areas
- Be available onsite for emergencies and after‑hours issues
Qualifications
- 1–2 years experience in hotel or motel management, or similar supervisory role
- Strong leadership and staff management skills
- Good understanding of front desk, guest services, and basic hotel accounting
- Familiarity with RoomMaster or similar PMS is an asset
- Able to handle busy periods and guest issues calmly and professionally
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently
- Comfortable living onsite as the primary contact for the property
Schedule
- Full‑time schedule including some evenings, weekends, and holidays
