Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Home Service Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners — working assigned lead pipelines, traveling to clients' homes to conduct complimentary in-home assessments, and presenting tailored solutions that win the sale. This role requires excellent communication and people skills, proven sales experience, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, commission-driven environment. The Home Service Advisor will manage their own schedule and pipeline, deliver an exceptional client experience, and consistently convert appointments into closed business.
Duties
- Work and manage assigned lead pipelines, following up promptly to book, confirm, and convert appointments
- Travel to homeowners' homes throughout the Greater Toronto Area and surrounding areas to conduct complimentary in-home assessments
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing clear, friendly, and professional communication throughout the process
- Build rapport quickly and confidently — you are comfortable talking to people and putting them at ease
- Assess each homeowner's needs and present tailored, easy-to-understand recommendations
- Prepare and present accurate quotes on-site, negotiate terms, and close the sale
- Manage multiple appointments and a full pipeline simultaneously while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
- Resolve client questions or concerns promptly and professionally
- Track activity, document appointments, and report on outcomes using company tools (training provided)
- Represent the Goose brand with professionalism and integrity in every home
Qualifications
- Proven experience in the sales industry, selling directly to customers — required
- Excellent communication and people skills; confident, personable, and comfortable talking to homeowners face-to-face
- Valid Ontario Class G driver's license — mandatory
- Own reliable vehicle — mandatory
- Willingness to drive throughout the Greater Toronto Area and surrounding areas daily to attend appointments
- Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Exceptional customer service orientation with strong negotiation abilities
- Comfortable using a phone, tablet, and software (training provided on our in-house tools)
- Ability to climb a ladder and access attic spaces during assessments
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
