We are looking for a Field Service Representative.
The Field Service Representative is a key contributor in providing on-site and remote support and is a liaison to our internal and external customers in regards to troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of the equipment.
The Field Service Representative must respond to equipment problems by providing corrective & preventive service measures to our customers, and complete service reports and expenses.
The Field Service Representative is also a primary liaison for the Customers, Sales, Clinical Applications, Project Management and Technical teams.
This support may require extensive overtime, travel and on call duties.
Provide technical support and repairs to Medical Imaging / diagnostic equipment.
Provide on-site and remote support during all phases of the equipment sales and post-sale activities.
Work closely with Sales, Clinical Applications Specialists, and other department managers to develop and maintain a strong relationship.
Act as a primary contact for customers.
Accountable for the performance of the equipment with respect to its reliability, downtime and first time fix rate,
Comply with the quality system and exercise fiscal responsibility.
Manage parts return, preventative maintenance and equipment updates.
- This position requires to be on call 24/7 approximately one week per month
Biomedical engineering technologist / Electronic Technologist or equivalent from a recognized institution.
Minimum 5 years practical experience in a customer facing hospital environment servicing Medical Imaging modalities.
Preference will be given to those with extensive MR, CT, Nuclear Medicine equipment expertise.
Experience or good knowledge of computer networking would be an asset.
Good working knowledge of computers is required along with strong mechanical aptitude
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Good knowledge of English. Excellent oral and verbal communication.
Strong background in a customer-focused environment would be an asset.
Excellent analytical and creative thinking skill is required.
Good negotiation skills
