Landscape Construction Project Coordinator & Estimator

Salary: $70,000 – $85,000 per year (based on experience)

Swick’s Landscaping is an award-winning landscape construction and maintenance company specializing in high-quality residential, commercial, and strata projects throughout Metro Vancouver. We are looking for an organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Project Coordinator & Estimator to join our growing team.
This role is ideal for someone with landscape construction experience who enjoys both estimating and project coordination in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Estimating
- Prepare detailed estimates and proposals for landscape construction projects
- Perform quantity take-offs from plans and drawings
- Obtain supplier and subcontractor pricing
- Assist with budgeting and cost analysis
- Review project specifications and identify potential risks or opportunities
Project Coordination
- Coordinate project schedules, labour, equipment, and material deliveries
- Order materials and maintain procurement schedules
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and field staff
- Prepare purchase orders, change orders, and project documentation
- Monitor project budgets and assist with cost tracking
- Support project managers and site supervisors to ensure projects remain on schedule
Administration
- Maintain organized project files and records
- Assist with reporting and progress updates
- Participate in planning meetings and workflow coordination
- Support continuous improvement of company systems and processes
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in landscape construction or the construction industry
- Experience with estimating, project coordination, or both
- Strong understanding of landscape construction methods and materials
- Ability to read plans and perform material take-offs
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and construction management software
- Valid BC Class 5 Driver's Licence
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with high-end residential or commercial landscape projects
- Knowledge of hardscape, softscape, irrigation, and drainage systems
- Familiarity with project scheduling and budgeting
- Experience working with suppliers and subcontractors
