Job Overview
We are seeking skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete work, including the ability to read blueprints and understand survey stakes. This role involves finishing all types of concrete surfaces and ensuring quality installations in various construction projects. You will be working closely with other construction professionals to achieve project goals and maintain safety standards.
Duties
- Interpret and follow blueprints and survey stakes for project specifications and concrete installation.
- Prepare surfaces for concrete pouring, including excavation and grading.
- Operate heavy equipment as needed for site preparation and material handling.
- Mix, pour, and finish concrete to achieve desired textures and finishes.
- Use hand tools effectively for leveling, shaping, smoothing, and restoring concrete surfaces.
- Perform masonry tasks as required, such as patching and repair.
- Assist in concrete overlay installation on projects by preparing subfloors and applying concrete overlays.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher or similar role in the construction industry.
- Strong ability to read blueprints/ technical drawings and surveys.
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods.
- Knowledge of masonry techniques is a plus.
- Familiarity with various hand tools and heavy equipment operation.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.

Pay: $34.00-$36.00 per hour
