Through our retail store, service division, project division and expanding online platform, we provide customers with a complete pool ownership experience, from water care and equipment solutions to automation, renovations, seasonal services, and backyard enhancements.
We are seeking a dynamic Director, Sales & Marketing to lead revenue growth, drive lead generation, expand our market presence, and support the continued growth of our retail, e-commerce, service, and project divisions.
Position Summary
Reporting to the President, the Director, Sales & Marketing is responsible for developing and executing sales and marketing strategies that drive revenue growth across all areas of the business.
This role owns the sales pipeline from lead generation through quoting, follow-up, proposal development, and conversion. The successful candidate will work closely with Retail, Service, and Project teams to identify opportunities, increase sales conversion, launch new products and services, and strengthen customer retention.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Growth
- Drive revenue growth across retail, ecommerce, home delivery, equipment sales, and project-based services.
- Develop and execute seasonal sales strategies and promotional campaigns.
- Identify opportunities to increase customer acquisition, retention, average sale value, and lifetime customer value.
- Manage pricing strategies, promotions, and revenue targets.
Project & Equipment Sales
- Lead project and equipment sales from inquiry to close.
- Prepare and manage customer proposals and quotations.
- Support sales growth for equipment replacements, automation upgrades, energy-efficient solutions, salt systems, liners, safety covers, heaters, and related backyard improvement projects.
- Collaborate with Operations to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
Marketing & Lead Generation
- Develop and implement annual and seasonal marketing plans.
- Manage digital and traditional marketing channels, including:
- Website & SEO
- Social Media
- Email Marketing
- Google Ads
- Local Advertising
- Track marketing performance and optimize lead generation efforts.
- Lead new product launches, promotional campaigns, and brand-building initiatives.
E-commerce & Business Development
- Support growth of the company's e-commerce and home delivery programs.
- Improve online customer acquisition and sales performance.
- Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, services, and revenue streams.
- Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitive activity.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Work closely with Retail, Service, and Operations teams to improve lead conversion and customer experience.
- Develop sales processes, training initiatives, and best practices.
- Foster a proactive, customer-focused, sales-driven culture throughout the organization.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in sales, marketing, business development, or a related leadership role.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets.
- Experience with project-based or consultative selling.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, lead generation, and customer acquisition strategies.
- Experience in retail, ecommerce, home services, construction, pool/spa, or related industries is considered an asset.
- Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience with CRM systems and sales pipeline management.
- Highly organized, results-oriented, and comfortable working in a seasonal, fast-paced environment.

Pay: $80,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
