Why this role is important?
We are hiring a Director, Digital Health Product & Strategy
Reporting to the Sr. Director, Digital Health, the Director is responsible for leading digital health strategic projects within the Health and Wellness space. In particular, the Director will lead the strategic planning and execution of an exciting new digital health platform to support the enterprise’s future developments in healthcare. The Director will be responsible for the creation and ongoing management of the overall project plan and product roadmap, as well as manage a large cross-functional team both within the enterprise and across key strategic partnerships.
The Director will work with cross-functional teams and senior leadership across the enterprise to build out, analyze and prioritize digital health strategies, roadmaps and execution plans. The Director will also work closely with our pharmacy and healthcare business leads, as well as the operations and information technology teams, to identify, structure and guide digital health opportunities into viable solutions. In this capacity the Director will lead collaborations and create analytical models to assess opportunities and determine the impact of innovative digital health initiatives.
What You'll Do:
Develop and launch a new digital health platform at SDM / LCL to support enterprise developments in healthcare
Develop and manage detailed execution and implementation plans across a cross-enterprise, cross-functional team both centrally and with key partners
Lead day-to-day coordination of large cross-functional, cross-enterprise digital health projects and initiatives, resolving issues as needed
Accountable for execution and meeting growth and sales targets for strategic initiatives
Identify strategic and operational opportunities in the pharmacy and healthcare space and support build out and implementation
Develop and refine use cases, opportunity assessments, financial models and other related business planning material
Make strategic decisions based on complex data and information
Become the subject matter expert in digital health, as well as relevant regulatory and industry developments
Travel expected ~50-75% of time within GTA
What You'll Need:
University degree with a concentration in Business and / or Health Sciences, preferred
7+ years’ experience in strategic planning and execution in the healthcare sector
Strong background in digital health, business strategy and execution is required
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent power point skills
Excellent excel skills
Must be able to develop business cases with accompanying investment metric models
Ability to be proactive on deliverables
Ability to work within a dynamic rapidly growing and evolving environment
Ability to work with cross-functional departments to achieve business goals
Ability to support negotiations and partnerships with external vendors and business partners
Ability to understand healthcare regulatory frameworks and healthcare ecosystem
Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills, combined with well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
